Ouvrard and Villars boat lights

This pair of finals with Fresnel lenses was made by the best French maker of ship and train lights Ouvrard et Villars which was based in St Ouen near Paris.

Ouvrard et Villars started in 1900 and made lanterns for ship and trains of the best quality. These ship lamps have been completely refurbished. The galvanised metal and brass parts were polished and lacquered, the lamps are newly electrified. They are currently wired for indoor use but they can be adapted for outdoor.
Very small chips on the Fresnel lenses (see pictures) but overall in very good condition. These lamps are versatile as they can be on a table or floor, fixed on the wall or even be suspended.
Rare small chips in the glass visible in the photos. A rare opportunity to have a pair but they can be sold individually.
