Art Deco chandelier attributed to Degué Cristallerie de Compiègne circa 1930 in hammered metal and moulded glass decorated with stylised roses.
This octagonal chandelier has a hammered metal frame into which are inserted a vasque and 4 half-cylinders in pressed and frosted white moulded glass.
The glass, decorated with roses, is stylised and geometric, typically Art Deco.
The stems of the octogonal structure are square in cross-section.
The shape of this model is pure and the balance of proportions well achieved.
The light is soft to the eye and this chandelier provides full illumination all around the lamp.
This five-light chandelier has been completely re-electrified and is ready to install.
