The Compiègne model appears in the 1921 Baccarat catalogue and we are lucky enough to have a service for 10 people with 4 models of glasses and 8 champagne glasses.
A very elegant model with flat ribs, the waist of which reflects the light superbly and the leg and foot are hexagonal.
Art deco period and timeless, these glasses with their sober lines go with all types of crockery, from the simplest to the most ornate.
There are 40 glasses in this set, including 8 champagne glasses, 10 water glasses, 10 red wine glasses, 10 white wine glasses and 10 aperitif or digestif glasses.
4 dessert glasses of the same Compiègne model will be listed separately.
The service is not signed Baccarat as it dates from before 1936 when the signature became compulsory.
