An elegant French XIXth century crystal tray with depth and round shapes, mounted with a silver strapping.
This rare Baccarat tray displays a star shape cut in the crystal of the bottom.
The four sides of the tray are made in a convex shape, a rare delicate form.
The sterling silver strapping also has a feminine undulating shape all around the tray.
It is hallmarked for silver with the French Minerve mark and the silversmith’s mark.
It is in a fair condition for its age with many scratches and small dents on the sterling silver, a very beautiful piece still.
