Liberia 1927 tea and coffee service by Christofle
This silver-plated service with Macassar ebony handles is a rare model.
Dating from the Art Deco period, the pieces in this service are rounded, original and resolutely feminine.
The coffee pot, teapot, sugar bowl and milk jug are signed Christofle, a rare Liberia model that appeared in the 1927 catalogue.
The shapes are inspired by exotic fruit, heralding the 1930 Colonial Exhibition.
